What is an Isolated Network?

An Isolated Network refers to a flexible, scalable network setup that can dynamically adjust to the needs of the applications running on it. This can include features like elastic load balancing, auto-scaling of network resources, and dynamic bandwidth allocation.

Creating an Isolated Network

To create an Isolated Network using the Alpha3 Cloud Platform follow these steps:

  1. Login to the Portal

  2. From the side panel click on Networks.



  1. From here you can manage and create a variety of network related options and resources. From the top bar navigate to Isolated Network.



  1. When you click on the plus (+) button located on the top right, you will be presented with the Isolated Network creation menu.



  1. First chose the Project you want the Isolated Network to be created for.

  2. Then you'll have to select the datacenter location where the Isolated Network will be created.

  3. Next, give the created network a Name and a Description.

  4. Next step is to define the Gateway and the Netmask of your network.

  5. Once you fill in these details click on Create.

Deleting an Isolated Network

The deletion of an Isolated Network is very easy.

  1. From the portal dashboard, head over to the Networks menu from the side panel.

  2. Locate the Isolated Network you want to delete and click on the trashcan icon.



  1. You will be asked to the Reason a Description and the Type of the deletion.
